Visas
Visas are required for visitors to Kenya.
Check with the local Kenya mission well in advance, since processing may take up to six weeks.
In countries with no diplomatic representation from Kenya, visas may be obtained through the British consulate.

Upon entering the country, you may be asked to show an onward ticket or sufficient funds for a return trip.
With a valid visa you can visit Tanzania or Uganda and return without having to apply for another visa.
If necessary, visas can be obtained on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Airport,
but this can be an extra hassle and is not recommended.
Visas are valid for a period of three months from the date of issue.
Visas can be renewed in Nairobi at the immigration office Nyayo House, and at the office in Reinsurance Plaza.
